Principle of Fiber Bragg Grating

Fiber Bragg Gratings are created by introducing a periodic variation in the refractive index of an optical fiber's core. This modulation allows the grating to reflect specific wavelengths of light while transmitting others. The fundamental principle behind FBGs is based on the Bragg condition, which states that light of a certain wavelength will be reflected when it meets the grating at a specific angle.
